API and MCP
The data in Placepoint Fusion can be used outside the map. Three routes cover different needs: APIs for system integration, the MCP server for analysis with Claude, and the Agent panel where the same happens directly in the platform.

APIs for developers
The developer portal documents the APIs for pulling Placepoint data into your own systems: property and company data, customer data, Filter searches, map embedding, and the PropCloud services for valuation and area analysis. The reference documentation is in English, with endpoints, parameters and examples for each API.
The APIs suit cases where data goes into a line-of-business system, a data warehouse or your own application, and they are updated continuously with new services. Access is agreed with us: get in touch via placepoint.no/selskap/kontakt.
MCP server for Claude
The MCP server connects Claude to the same registers that Placepoint Fusion is built on. You ask in whichever language you use yourself, Claude retrieves data from the matrikkel, Grunnboken, company registers, zoning plans and around 2,300 map layers, and delivers reports, dashboards and analyses. A whole street or district can be analysed in a single request. The scope in figures is set out on Placepoint in figures.

Agent in Placepoint Fusion
The Agent panel is the MCP server built into Placepoint Fusion, as a pilot. Same questions, same data sources, but with no setup: you type in the panel, the Agent controls maps and panels in the platform and searches this documentation when you wonder how something is done.
