Find a property
You have an address, a matrikkel number or a company name, and you want to open the property panel with owners, buildings and zoning data.
Step 1: open the search field
The search field sits in the top left of the interface. Click in the field or press Tab.

Step 2: type your search
Type an address, matrikkel number, organisation number or company or place name. After about one second, a list of suggestions appears.

The search groups results into categories: property/address, company, matrikkel, tags and project. Address results show the matrikkel number (for example 0301-209-272-0-0) below the place name.
Step 3: click a result
Click the property you are looking for. The search closes, the map zooms to the property and the polygon is highlighted.
Step 4: open the panel
Click once on the highlighted polygon to open the property panel on the right-hand side.

Sometimes the panel does not slide in automatically on the first click after a search. One more click on the polygon fixes this.
Step 5: browse the tabs
The property panel brings together matrikkel data, buildings, owners, transactions and risk. The most important tabs for an early assessment:
| Tab | What you find |
|---|---|
| General info | UFA, hierarchy, certifications |
| Owners | Registered owners and companies |
| Transactions | Sales history with price and date |
| Zoning | Area purpose and zoning provisions |
| Case Records | Municipal building cases. See Case records |
| Risk | Natural hazards and ground conditions. See Risk |
See The property panel for a full overview of all tabs.
Alternative: click directly on the map
If you already have the right location on the map, click directly on the property. The polygon is highlighted; click it again to open the panel.
Alternative: search by matrikkel number
Type the matrikkel number directly in the format 0301-209-272 for a precise result without an address. This is useful when you have received a matrikkel number from a document or a report.

Recently visited
The Last visited button in the top left (clock icon) collects the panels you have opened recently. It is a quick shortcut back to the properties you are working on.
