Fire Stations Response Time
Placepoint's derived analysis of all fire stations in Norway with associated drive-time response zones: 5, 10 and 20 minutes calculated from each station. The fire stations are taken from Public and similar buildings in the matrikkel, and the response zones are calculated by isochrone analysis on the road network from Statens vegvesen.
For a property developer, fire response time is a mandatory factor in zoning plans: buildings outside the 10-minute zone can trigger stricter fire safety requirements or restrictions on land use. For a home buyer, it is also information that forms part of a risk assessment. Included in Placepoint's map layer for risk. Related: Public and similar buildings (the fire stations themselves), Road category, authority & speed limit.
Update frequency: When the source changes.
When fire station locations change.
