Broadband coverage

Broadband coverage per building, categorised into different speed classes. The dataset builds on data reported by broadband providers to the annual coverage survey run by Nkom, and is distributed to Placepoint by Geodata AS. Note that reported data may contain errors: buildings classified with good coverage may in practice have delivery problems. The map tells you which speed is offered, not who delivers it.

For a housing developer, broadband coverage is one of the most important everyday indicators in a prospectus and in target group assessment, particularly in the home office segment. For a commercial agent it is decisive for office and industrial rental buildings where digital infrastructure is a basic premise. Part of Placepoint's map layer for infrastructure.
