Property prices

Average property price per grunnkrets (basic statistical unit), based on collated transaction data from Eiendomsverdi, Kartverket's matrikkel and Statistisk sentralbyrå (SSB). Distributed by Geodata AS. The value is an aggregated area price and should be read as a market indicator, not as a valuation of an individual property.

For commercial property agents and valuers, the average price level in the grunnkrets is key context in a prospectus and a valuation. Read this dataset together with Number of transactions (property) (many transactions give a more reliable price) and Latest sales (units of use) (individual transactions). Related: Income, Wealth, Households. Included in Placepoint's map layers for demographics and property.

Update frequency: monthly.
