Fibre coverage
Share of households with an offer of 1 Gbit/s fibre, from Nkom's annual coverage survey. The dataset is available for county, municipality, 1000 m and 250 m grids, and as household points, so the same question can be answered both for a single site and for a whole market.
The dataset says where fibre is offered, not who delivers it. Nkom collects figures per provider, but publishes coverage aggregated across the providers. No open Norwegian source names the provider at an address: physical cable routes can be exempted under the geodata regulations (geodataforskriften) and the Security Act (sikkerhetsloven), and Ledningsportalen shares routes only through the excavation notification procedure (gravemeldingsrutinen). If you need to know who can actually deliver at a specific address, you still have to ask the providers.
For a developer, fibre is a basic premise in two segments: offices and data centres, where capacity decides whether the building is relevant at all, and housing outside the cities, where fibre is a selling point and the lack of fibre a real drag on value. The grid makes it possible to see that the neighbourhood has fibre even if this particular site is not registered with an offer. Included in Placepoint's map layer for infrastructure. The figure is an offer as the providers have reported it, not a confirmed delivery. A building can be listed with an offer and still require its own connection work.
