Public transport stops
Public transport stops for bus, metro, tram, train, ferry and port from Entur, the state-owned company that runs Norway's national hub for public transport data. The dataset collects the national stop place registry (NSR), with coordinates, NSR ID, platform and quay information, and which public transport operators serve each stop.
For a housing developer, proximity to a stop is one of the most decision-heavy location factors: walking distance to public transport often sets the parking standard in zoning plans, and can amount to several hundred thousand kroner per flat in saved parking spaces. For a commercial agent, it matters for office buildings that recruit from a wider commuter catchment. Part of Placepoint's map layer for transport and communications.
