All hotels with an attached restaurant in Norway, chain hotels (Scandic, Thon, Choice/Nordic Choice, Best Western, Radisson) and independent ones, with chain affiliation, industry codes, turnover, number of employees and operating profit. Supplied by Geodata AS, with Brønnøysundregistrene's Enhetsregister (the central register of legal entities) as the underlying source.

For a commercial property agent, hotel property is a market of its own, often with chain-based long-term contracts, and the dataset is a key entry point for portfolio overviews. For a residential developer, proximity to a hotel is both an indicator of centrality and can signal an area that is developing a more active urban character.
