Infrastructure buildings

Building types in the matrikkel that fall under transport, water and wastewater, and parking:

  • Transport: traffic control buildings, lighthouses, unloading stations, railway and metro stations, terminal buildings, air terminals and control towers.
  • Water and wastewater: buildings for water supply and treatment plants, public toilets.
  • Parking: car parks, garage and hangar buildings.

See also the glossary entry Infrastrukturbygg. The building geometry comes from Felles kartdatabase (FKB), the shared national map database, and the dataset is supplied by Kartverket. For developers, proximity to public transport nodes, terminals and essential infrastructure is a key location factor. The layer is shown in the Infrastructure map layer. Update frequency: daily.

There is a delay of one to two days from registration in the matrikkel.
