Mapped municipal plans
A selection of municipal plans and thematic plans that Placepoint has compiled manually and published in a digitally searchable format, so that users get access to important plans that are not covered by the nationwide Municipal plans copy from Kartverket. At present, the dataset covers, among other things:
- Bergen: Planbeskrivelse for boligforsyning (planning description for housing supply)
- Hamar: Sentrumsplan (town centre plan)
- Lillestrøm: Byutviklingsplan (urban development plan) and utilisation ratios
- Oslo: Veiledende plan for offentlig rom (VPOR) for Bjerke, Bryn, Frysja, Haraldrud, Hasle/Valle Hovin, Løren/Økern, Lysakerbyen, Mortensrud, Stovner/Rommen, Trosterud/Haugerud and Vollebekk
- Oslo: Bilfritt byliv (car-free city life)
For developers and asset managers working in Oslo, Bergen, Lillestrøm and Hamar, these planning documents are strategically important. They set the framework for development on sites that would otherwise appear to be "fully zoned" in the standardised planning data. The dataset is extended continuously by Placepoint's data team as relevant thematic plans are published. Related: Zoning Plans, Municipal plans, Regulatory Plans (Oslo), Housing and area reserve (Oslo).
Update frequency: when the source changes.
Placepoint maps new plans on an ongoing basis.
How the dataset appears on the map
The dataset appears in the Property map layer as part of the municipal plan layer:
