Agriculture and fisheries buildings
Building types in the matrikkel (the Norwegian cadastre) linked to the primary industries:
- Agriculture: greenhouses, animal housing, storage and silos, mountain farm buildings, huts and fishing cabins, forest and outfield cabins, turf huts.
- Fisheries: operating buildings for fishing, catching and aquaculture, boathouses, equipment sheds, sea sheds.
The building geometry comes from Felles kartdatabase (FKB), and the dataset is supplied by Kartverket. It is part of Placepoint's map layers for Landbruk and kyst og fiskeri (coast and fisheries). Related: Land cover types (AR5) and Arable land from Norsk institutt for bioøkonomi (NIBIO) for agriculture-relevant land information, and the Aquaculture register from Fiskeridirektoratet (the Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries) for aquaculture sites.
Update frequency: daily.
There is a delay of one to two days from registration in the matrikkel.
