Boverket

Boverket is the Swedish authority for planning, building and housing. The agency manages Boverkets byggregler (BBR), the national technical requirements every Swedish building project must meet, and runs PBL kunskapsbanken, the national handbook to the plan- och bygglagen (PBL), the act that governs everything from regional planning to the individual bygglov. Boverket also owns the energideklarationsregistret, the register of the statutory energy declarations for Swedish buildings.

We do not collect a separate dataset from Boverket today. The agency is named as one of the sources behind Placepoint's Swedish coverage in our own published figures, but Combify's source information points to the municipal bygningsnämnder and planeringskontor as the origin of the cases themselves, not to Boverket directly. What Boverket contributes is the framework: the building regulations and the PBL guidance that decide what a bygglov or a detaljplan must meet, whichever of the 290 municipalities makes the decision. The Norwegian counterpart is Direktoratet for byggkvalitet (DiBK), but the comparison is not exact: DiBK manages the technical building regulations, while Boverket is also the national專 authority for the plan- och bygglagen itself, a responsibility that in Norway sits with the ministry. Boverket is therefore DiBK plus part of the ministry's planning role, gathered in one agency.

What Boverket owns and manages​

Boverket is not named as a Combify source today, so none of the points below is a dataset Placepoint confirms it collects. They are the rules and registers that bygglov and detaljplaner from the 290 municipalities are assessed against and reported to.
