Placepoint
Placepoint is the Norwegian property technology company behind the console you are now reading documentation for. As well as being the platform that brings together all the other sources in this overview, Placepoint delivers a number of its own datasets, that is analyses and derived products that are not available ready-made from any external data provider. They are developed by Placepoint's data and product teams and build on combinations of data from Brønnøysundregistrene, Kartverket, Statistisk sentralbyrå, Entur, municipal planning registers and media monitoring.
Examples of Placepoint's own datasets are Growing companies (companies that grow by at least 10 employees or 25% at the same address), Ownership and Company Structure, Real Estate Transactions in the Media, Fire Stations Response Time, Main Industry per Basic Statistical Unit, Public Transport Density, Walking to the public transport stops, Retail activity and Mapped Municipal plans. These make up the Placepoint-specific layer on top of the raw data sources, and they are a key part of the value proposition to customers.
We make property easier to understand. Placepoint gathers property data from hundreds of public and private sources in one platform, so that you can understand properties, prospect, analyse value, assess risk and manage portfolios.
