Politiet

Politiet (the Norwegian Police Service) is Norway's civilian police. It reports to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security and has twelve police districts and several specialist agencies. Politiet supplies two datasets to Placepoint: the list of police stations and service points from politiet.no, and the incidents the districts publish in Politiloggen (the police log).

For a developer, property manager or insurer, the data says something about emergency preparedness and safety around a property. It shows where the nearest police station is and which services it offers, and which incidents the police have reported in the area over the past year. Both datasets are part of the risk map layer.
