Matrikkelen - property map
Matrikkelen is Norway's official property register, and this dataset delivers the very foundation of the property data in Placepoint: all teiger (delimited parcels of land), matrikkelnumre (gårdsnummer/bruksnummer), boundary points, boundaries and parcel area with quality information. Anleggseiendommer (construction properties), that is, properties above or below ground, are delivered as a flat footprint. The distribution is connected directly to Kartverket, and normally has a 30 minute delay from registration by the municipality until the dataset is updated. For larger uploads, the delay can be somewhat longer.
Matrikkelen drives the property click and the property panel in Placepoint, and the Property map layer. When you retrieve ownership details, ground lease details or building information for a property, the matrikkel data register sits underneath, combined with Grunnboken for registered rights and encumbrances. Adjacent datasets such as Building age, Apartment building, Commercial buildings and Latest sales (units of use) also draw on the matrikkel information model.
