Regulation plan proposals
Zoning Plans that have been submitted or are out for public consultation, but not yet adopted. The dataset is a geographic information service that shows the boundaries of the plan proposals, proposed land use, provisions and other relevant geographic data. It is distributed by Kartverket, which synchronises the plan proposals from the municipalities' planning data.
For a developer or an estate agent, ongoing plan proposals are essential strategic information: proposed new land use in an area can change the valuation of adjoining property, and coming conflicts can be identified early. The dataset is a central part of plot searches and matching in Placepoint. Related: Zoning Plans (adopted), Municipal plans (overarching), objection (one of the processes that can stop a plan proposal). The colours and hatching on the plan map are explained in the zoning plan legend.
Update frequency: real time.
Kartverket updates the data continuously, and it becomes visible in Placepoint immediately.
