Growing companies
Placepoint's derived overview of companies growing by at least 10 employees or 25% at the same address over an 18-month period. Public sector entity types (municipalities, agencies, public enterprises) and minor changes are filtered out. The dataset builds on employment and enterprise data from Brønnøysundregistrene's Enhetsregisteret (the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities) and linked accounting registers.
For a commercial property agent, growing companies are one of the most direct transaction indicators in the office market: a company with 10 or more employees than 18 months ago will typically need larger premises within 6 to 12 months. The dataset is therefore a useful early signal for proactive client contact. For a developer, it is also relevant when assessing demand prospects for office buildings in an area.
