Developer activity

Areas where new activity is under way or planned in the near future, based on information in the matrikkel (the Norwegian cadastre), typically new bruksnummer, newly established land parcels and notified new builds. Changes to buildings (conversions, extensions and additional storeys) are not included. The dataset focuses on new activity, not changes to what already exists.

For a property developer or consultant, the dataset is an efficient way to identify new-build areas and ongoing development projects, and it plays a central part in site searches and matching in Placepoint. Distributed by Kartverket. Related: Housing and area reserve (Oslo) for development pressure specific to Oslo, and Regulation plan proposals for what has been submitted at the planning stage.
