Field of education

The dominant field of education per grunnkrets (basic statistical unit), that is, the subject category that most people in the area have studied. The following categories are used: allmenne fag, helse- og sosialfag, humanistiske og estetiske fag, lærerutdanning, naturvitenskap, økonomiske fag, primærnæringer, samferdsel, samfunnsfag and uoppgitt. You can also retrieve the number of people per category. Delivered to Placepoint by Geodata AS, with Statistisk sentralbyrå (SSB) as the data owner.

For a commercial property broker, field of education signals which workforce is available in an area, which is relevant for office and commercial property. Areas dominated by health subjects have a different profile from areas dominated by financial or science subjects. Read it together with Education Level, Main Industry per Basic Statistical Unit, Income and Age distribution. Included in Placepoint's map layers for demographics and business activity.

The filter limits the selection to Allmenne fag, Humanistiske and estetiske fag, Lærerutdanning, Samfunnsfag and Økonomiske fag (all as a percentage share per grunnkrets).
