Property and buildings
Click a property in the map and the property panel opens along the right side. It gathers everything Placepoint knows about the matrikkelenhet: owners, transactions, zoning, buildings, usage units and tenants.

What is what
Placepoint separates three panel levels:
| Panel | What it covers | Opens when |
|---|---|---|
| Property panel | The whole matrikkelenhet (gnr/bnr/fnr/snr) | You click a property polygon in the map |
| Building panel | A single building on the property | You click a building in the Building tab or directly in the map |
| Address panel | Address without a matrikkel link | You click an address point in the map |
The property panel is the entry point. The building panel is the next level down.
The property panel: tabs
The tabs are organised in a horizontal tab strip at the top of the panel. Visible tabs at a typical width are Overview, Empty and the first data tabs. The rest are collected under +N more and are available from there.
| Tab | What you find |
|---|---|
| Overview | Owners, latest transactions, zoning, risk, listings, valuation, ESG, case access, activities and projects in one place |
| Empty | Unit type, area, boundaries and matrikkel data for the plot |
| Owners | Registered owners and corporate owners with the ownership chain |
| Tenants | Active leases with company information and group structure |
| Transactions | Complete sales history and share transactions |
| ESG | Energy rating, certifications and environmental indicators |
| Case access | Municipal building cases registered against the matrikkel number |
| Zoning | Municipality plan and zoning plan with purpose and document link |
| Risk | Landslides, flooding, quick clay, radon and contaminated ground |
| Listing | Active and historical Finn listings |
| Valuation | Model-based value estimate from the PropCloud integration |
| Plot Valuation | Model-based assessment of the plot's development potential |
| Rental Valuation | Estimated rental value per m² |
| Documents | Reports and documents linked to the property |
The rental structure is described in detail on Units and Tenants. The full structure of the property panel, with the key figures row, panel buttons and use cases, is on Property panel.
The building panel: tabs
The building panel shows one building in isolation from the rest of the property. That is useful when a property has several buildings and you want to compare them, or go deep on one building's technical data, floor structure and change log.
| Tab | What you find |
|---|---|
| Building | Building Type, status, area, energy source and heating from Matrikkelen |
| Contacts | Owner, manager, tenant representatives (relevant for commercial buildings) |
| Floors | List of floors with type, number and UFA |
| Units | Usage units limited to this building |
| Tenants | Change log: matrikkel changes, building case changes and manual notes |
