Settings
Settings opens from the user card at the bottom of the left menu and sits over the map. The panel gathers theme, language, your own profile, the users in your organisation and the settings for the map. Your choices are saved per user and follow you between sessions.

How to open Settings
- Click the user card with your initials at the bottom of the left menu.
- Select Settings.

The user card has five options. Theme and Language are submenus with the same options as under General. Settings opens this panel. Help gathers documentation, chat, system check and About Placepoint. See Help and support for details. Log out signs you out.
The parts of the panel
| Part | What you control |
|---|---|
| General | Theme and language |
| Profile | Your name and email address |
| Members | Who has access in your organisation |
| Invitations | Invitations that have been sent, and their status |
| Map | Performance and background map |
Map appears only when you are in the map, since the settings there affect the map you see behind the panel.
Members and Invitations appear for organisations that manage their own users. If you cannot see them, we manage the user list: write to support@placepoint.no.
All changes are saved straight away. The profile is the only exception: there you confirm with Save.
