Active Layers
A map layer you add appears in the Map Layers popover in the top right of the map. Click the Map Layers button to open it. The popover lists all active layers, with Add layer at the top so you can add more.
How to switch on a map layer
- Click the Map Layers button in the top right of the map.
- Click Browse layers to open the catalogue.
- Select a category in the list on the left (for example Property or Demographics), or search for a layer at the top.
- Click Add on the layer. The layer is drawn on the map straight away and appears in the popover.
How to control an active layer
Each row in the popover has an on/off toggle on the right that hides or shows the layer without removing it, and a menu under the three dots:
| Option | Function |
|---|---|
| View legend | Shows the colour codes and symbols the layer uses on the map. |
| Remove from menu | Takes the layer off the map. You can add it again through Add layer or the catalogue. |
