Placepoint 3.0.33
Released 29/10/2026. This is a major release. Placepoint AI has had its biggest update since launch, housing coops now appear in the panels, and Sweden has better coverage. Search and the top menu are now shared between docs.placepoint.no and placepoint.no, eight new map layers are ready, and the Agent now connects to nine new business systems.
New
Housing coops in the property, company and person panels
You now see the full picture of a housing coop, not just the company itself:
- Sales of housing coop shares appear under Transactions in the property panel, together with the other sales on the property.
- The shares and their owners appear in the ownership structure in the company panel for the housing coop.
- A person's shares appear in their portfolio, in the same way as properties and sections.
- Hover over a buyer's or seller's ownership share to see it as a fraction.
Sweden
- When Sweden is the selected country, the Agent suggests Swedish questions, answers from Swedish data and links to Swedish properties that open the right panel.
- The connections in the Agent, their error messages and the navigation layer options under Settings and Map appear in the language you have chosen, including Swedish.
Map layers in Fusion and Placepoint AI
Eight new map layers are ready in Fusion. Five of them are also available in Placepoint AI, so you can ask about them in Claude, Copilot and ChatGPT.
- Property Tax under Pricing Info shows the property tax for each property in 2026. It uses the municipality's own figure where we have the property tax list, and an estimate otherwise. Figures per municipality go back to 2007.
- Public Transport (Entur) under Transport and communications and Infrastructure shows all stops with departures per hour. There is one sub-layer each for bus, metro, tram, ferry, train and air. Also in Placepoint AI.
- Broadband and fibre under Infrastructure shows coverage per municipality, in 100 m grid squares and per building, from 10 Mbit/s up to 1 Gbit/s fibre. Also in Placepoint AI.
- Planned grid developments under Energy shows the grid companies' planned developments in the regional and transmission grid, with expected start dates and whether the project needs a licence. Also in Placepoint AI.
- Solar power under Energy shows solar power plants that are built, under construction or in licensing, with owner, capacity and expected output. Also in Placepoint AI.
- Police under Risk shows police stations and service points with their services and contact details. It also shows police districts, police zones and the civil defence. Also in Placepoint AI.
- Wildlife migration under Nature shows migration paths for elk, red deer and roe deer, and migration routes for geese and swans.
- Hotels under Business shows all hotels in Norway, with chain, revenue, number of employees and profit.
- The risk row for lightning strikes now shows the density of lightning strikes for the property, not just whether it is above or below the threshold.

Connect the Agent to the systems you already use
Administrators connect the Agent to the organisation's own systems under Settings. After that, everyone in the organisation can ask about their own leases, buildings, work orders, invoices and projects in the same conversation as the property data from Fusion. Everyone can see which connections are set up, but only administrators can add or remove them.
| Connection | What the Agent retrieves |
|---|---|
| Fenistra | Portfolios, properties, leases, tenants and rent |
| Fazile | Properties, leases, tenants and rent |
| FDVweb | Buildings, components, open work orders, maintenance plan and service agreements |
| EG Facilit | Properties, buildings, sections, leases, deviations and condition records |
| Xledger | Projects, supplier and customer invoices, general ledger lines, customers and suppliers |
| Tripletex | Accounts: postings, customers, suppliers, invoices, orders and projects |
| HubSpot | CRM: companies, contacts, deals and cases |
| Notion | The pages and databases in the workspace |
| Saga | Projects, documents, assistants and workflows |
| Custom connection | An MCP server the organisation runs itself, with a URL and a token the administrator enters |
Placepoint MCP, Placepoint Dataset MCP and Combify MCP were already included. The Agent reads through the connections and changes nothing unless you confirm. When a connection is removed, access is also revoked at the provider. Read more about the setup in Connections to other systems.
The Agent also answers faster. Questions about a company's properties, the plans for an address and similar now come straight from Fusion's own data instead of going through every connected system. The status line shows when the Agent is thinking between tools, and long answers now arrive in full.
Also new
- Customers with access can download a property report for credit assessment as a PDF from the report list on a property.
- You can make the Settings window larger by dragging its bottom-right corner.
Fixes and improvements
- When a conversation with the Agent fails, the Agent explains why instead of showing a generic error message. For example, the service may be paused or busy, or a data source may be down.
- Fixed a bug that could make the very first conversation with the Agent fail straight after a connection was set up.
- Fixed a bug where clicking some map layers did not open the information box in the map of Norway.
- The legend now shows readable names instead of internal codes for the sub-layers in Walking to the public transport stops and Fire Stations Response Time.
- The connections drop-down in the Agent shows the full name in Safari, including next to a badge, and the list is sorted alphabetically.
Other news since 3.0.32
Placepoint AI
- Placepoint AI has had its biggest update since launch. Placepoint MCP has a new search engine and 286 new fields, and answers from the same data as Fusion. Zoning per property, value estimates for homes, the full ownership chain up to the ultimate parent company and all registered sales now take one question each. Much that used to take five questions now takes one. Everything is described in Updates.
- If you have used Placepoint AI before, update the connector once to get the new tools.
- New installation guides for Google Gemini Enterprise and Google Gemini CLI.
- The guide for ChatGPT follows OpenAI's new setup with Plugins. It includes a ready-made instruction that makes ChatGPT use Placepoint before it searches the web or downloads documents.
- The guide for Microsoft Copilot Studio shows how to set up the agent to reach the servers, with instructions and tool selection.
Privacy and security
- Privacy and data processing has a new section on DORA for banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions. It also explains what we log when an AI tool retrieves data from Placepoint.
- Examples and tips shows how to send the AI app only what a lookup needs.
Help pages and placepoint.no
- Search on docs.placepoint.no now also shows results from placepoint.no, and search on placepoint.no shows results from the help pages. You find the answer wherever you start looking.
- Both sites have the same top menu and the same look. Data and sources is now at the top level of the left menu, just above Map layer.
- The glossary has new entries on bedrock, rock type, superficial deposits and marine limit.
- Log in on placepoint.no brings together sign-in for Fusion and our other services, and explains that Fusion requires an invitation.
- Reports from the free property check on placepoint.no are now based on the updated Placepoint MCP, with zoning, risk, owners and previous sales.
