PRM
PRM stands for Property Relationship Management and is Placepoint's way of working that organises the work around properties instead of around customers. The idea comes from classic CRM, where Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics 365 structure contacts, companies and sales opportunities in pipelines with associated tasks, notes and interaction. In a PRM it is the matrikkelenhet (cadastral unit), not the person, that carries the history, tasks and collaboration.
In practice this means that you create a project, gather properties across folders, add tags to the individual property so that characteristics can be used for filtering and lookups later, write notes and delegate tasks to colleagues. The approach resembles what is known internationally as Property or Portfolio Information Management in the property industry, but in a Norwegian context it is more closely tied to public property registers. The underlying property data comes from matrikkelen and Grunnboken at Kartverket, supplemented with planning data from Geonorge and municipal planning registers.
The result is that each property in a PRM project can be enriched with authoritative data on owner, area, zoning and encumbrances, while the team works together on acquisition, due diligence or management in the same place. PRM as a term is not standardised in any Norwegian law or industry norm; it is Placepoint's product name for this way of working.
In Placepoint you find the PRM features under Project features, with Matching to find candidate properties and Monitoring to be notified when something happens to properties you follow.
