Reports

A report is a ready-made document covering data you would otherwise have to collect from five places: Grunnboken, the company register, the matrikkel, the planning register and the map layers. You select a property, a portfolio or an area, and you get a document with sources and maps, ready to attach to a case document.

ℹ️ Reports are coming soon. Contact us using the chat button at the bottom right if you would like to know more.

How to open it

Reports open from a selected property, preselected for the property's location, or from a company for the portfolio-oriented ones. If you need the figures today, Analyze gives you demographics and area utilisation for an area you draw yourself.

The reports

Each report has its own page with what it contains, what it does not cover and which sources it builds on.

Technical details

  • The reports open as a panel over the map and can be expanded to full screen.
  • The Reset button resets all filters to the default selection.
  • The zoom control (– 2 % +) at the bottom of the panel lets you adjust the text size.
  • The dashboards are interactive, with filters for housing type, new or existing, geography and comparison area.

When a property is too large for a report

The Risk Report, the climate risk report and some other reports have an internal area limit. The calculation against hazard zones, flood data, kvikkleire (quick clay) and ground conditions runs at full resolution within the matrikkelenhet, and large continuous properties (typically agricultural, forestry and industrial properties of several hundred decares) may be rejected with a message that the property is too large.

Try this order:

  1. Run the Zoning and area utilisation report instead. It covers the planning basis and works at all sizes, but does not include kvikkleire, radon, noise and flooding.
  2. Contact us using the chat button at the bottom right. We can split the property, run two partial reports manually and send you the result by email.

It is not yet possible to mark only part of a property; the whole matrikkelenhet is the smallest resolution Placepoint works with. Subdivision must be done through the municipality.
