Point search

Point search lists all properties, buildings and addresses within a radius of your choice around a point you click on the map. Use it when you know the geography, but not the exact objects you are looking for.
How to use point search
- Open the search field at the top left and select Point search from the dropdown menu in the search.
- Click a spot on the map. Placepoint draws a circle around the point.
- Adjust the radius by typing the number of metres in the field in the panel.
- The panel fills with objects inside the circle, sorted by distance from the point.
What the panel shows
- Properties, buildings and addresses inside the circle, sorted by distance.
- Demographics figures for the area.
- The option to export the list to Excel.
Difference from address search
Search finds one named object. Point search gives you all objects in a defined geographical area. Use search when you know what you are looking for; use point search when you want to see what is near a point.
