Tags

Tags are coloured labels you attach to properties to organise your work: "assessed", "owner contacted", "candidate for purchase", "should be rejected". A property can have many tags; one tag can cover hundreds of properties. Tags work across projects and are shared with your team.

Tags panel with tagged properties

Open the panel

Click Tags in the left menu. The panel shows a searchable card list of properties that have tag markers.

What the panel shows

Tags panel with search field, filter button and card list

  • Search field at the top: filter on matrikkel, tag name or municipality. The list updates as you type.
  • Filter button (the funnel icon) next to the search: opens a filter panel for advanced narrowing.
  • Card list: one card per tagged property with matrikkel number, address, coloured tag markers and a thumbnail.
  • Count: shown at the top of the list, for example "27 tags (all)".
  • Zoom to: hover over a card to bring up the crosshair icon. Click it to zoom the map to that property.
  • Show table: the button at the bottom opens all tagged properties in a table view.

Showing the tags on the map

Tagged properties appear as coloured points on the map. The eye icon turns the display off or on, so you can hide the points while you work on something else. The crosshair icon in the panel zooms the map to all tagged properties, while the crosshair icon on a single card zooms to that property only.

Click a point on the map, or a card in the panel, to open the property panel for that property. There you see the tags on the property along with matrikkel, area and other data.

Creating a new tag

Tags are created from the property panel. Open a property, click the button to add a tag, and type a new tag name. The tag is created and linked to the property in the same step.

How to tag a property

  1. Open the property by clicking it on the map, or through search.
  2. Click Add tag at the top of the property panel.
  3. Select an existing tag from the list, or type a new tag name and click Create new tag.

A property can have many tags. Use that to cross-categorise: the same property can be marked with "Oslo portfolio", "Q2 assessment" and "Priority" at the same time.

Video: from a new tag to the Tags panel

The video creates the tag "Til vurdering" (for assessment) on Tordenskiolds gate 2 and finds it again in the Tags panel: the crosshair icon at the top zooms out to all tagged properties, the search narrows the list to one, and the crosshair icon on the card zooms back to the property.

  1. Search for the property and open the property panel.
  2. Click Add tag. The list shows the tags the workspace already has. Type "Til vurdering" and click Create new tag. The tag is created and attached to the property in the same step.
  3. Click Tags in the left menu. The panel lists all tagged properties in the workspace.
  4. The crosshair icon at the top of the panel zooms out to all tagged properties. Type the tag name in the search field, and only this property remains, and the crosshair icon on the card zooms back to it.

Duration: 55 seconds.

Colours and filtering

The tag markers are colour coded. Use the colour to signal status without reading the tag name, one colour per phase or per team. The filter button combines filters on tag name, municipality and date to bring up the properties you need.

Typical use cases

Due diligence pipeline. Create four tags: "For assessment", "In DD", "Rejected", "Purchase". Tag properties at the right stage as the work moves along. Click a tag in the panel to see the whole batch at that stage without opening a project.

Personal bookmarks across projects. Use tags such as "Follow up", "Ask agent" or "Check zoning" as a personal to-do list. Other team members in the workspace can see them, so use names that make sense without context.

Portfolio overview. Gather development sites in a defined area, click Show as map and get all tagged properties plotted as points for a spatial overview.

Cross-categorisation. A property can be marked with "Oslo portfolio" and "Q2 assessment" and "Priority" at the same time. Filter on one of them to see the relevant selection.

Tips

  • The search field filters the list as you type. Type the first letters of a tag name to narrow down quickly.
  • Show as map plots all tagged properties as points on the map, useful for a spatial overview.
  • Tags are visible to everyone with access to the workspace. Use a naming convention that colleagues can understand.
  • Only delete tags you are sure are not in use. A deleted tag is removed from every property that has it.
  • Use colours systematically if your tag list starts to grow: green = positive markers, red = negative, grey = neutral.
